Skyrim Reset Quest Not Working

I noticed that when completing the main quest on the Dragonborn DLC. When you defeat Miraak, Hermaeous Mora offers you to reset your perk tree in return for a dragon soul. After agreeing to this, i found out i was able to upgrade all of my dragon shouts without killing another dragon.

I have searched the internet for days and tried everything from reset button to updates, charged it overnight and even got a new USB cable! My dual shock 3 wouldn't connect, just flashed the 4 red lights. Then I tried exactly as you did, popped the controller open, unplugged & plugged the battery back in and it started working immediately! Thank you!

Ok, I wasn't aware. I wish I had a little less of a wish-washy answer (something more technical and specific) then that, but I guess I'll just need to accept it. Could have done with out the attitude though. I've sunk over 800 hours into the game and don't use console commands unless I'm just testing to see why something isn't working. It's not like I just cheat myself to 50 and then start playing or randomly progress quests for the fun of it.

Quests are a huge part of Skyrim, there are hundreds of them - big, small, complex and easy! There are lots of console commands that allow you to start, complete and reset quests - this article will take you through how to use them. Quests are awarded at 00:00, determined by region. This is often referred to as the "quest reset" or "reset time". The Americas region is set to PST; the Europe region set to CET; and the Asia region set to Hongkong/Taiwan time.[2] Player reports suggest that the reset time changes to match daylight saving time during the summer months.[3] There will be a countdown timer for the next quest to appear, which occupies the most-right empty slot.

Progress cannot be made on such quests until they have been added to the quest log and revealed to the player. Therefore, players awaiting a new quest while in game menus are advised to log out and back in again after the reset time, in order to activate it before resuming play.

Please bear with me this is my first ever post on here! I'm hoping someone can help me reset the Chloe quest as its bugged out on me which I wasn't too bothered about as I was just going to ignore it and have done for quite a while , however because the quest is in my journal unless I disable Cursed Loot I can't fast travel at all. Trying to ride everywhere on my horse or coc'ing everywhere is getting really tedious but if I enable Cursed Loot and go back to Chloe in Helgen her dialogue options are not showing up, I can't release her from the yoke and if I go to search the bandit chest near Whiterun there is nothing relevant to the quest in there. I have a sinking feeling that my options are either start a new game or disable Cursed Loot permanently 2ff7e9595c
